Target Audience : My Representation
My Representation: Male For the representation of my stereotypical male indie rock fan I wanted to reflect what I'd previously discovered through my target audience research. I did this firstly by showcasing his carefree nature with the long and unkempt hair, although this may still be considered current and on-trend. From my target audience research I discovered that the stereotypical outfit for an 'indie' male is breton stripes and black skinny jeans, which I decided to show in my representation to best reflect their style. As well as this, I also wanted to include one garish piece of clothing that reflected the styles of indie rock artists that I first discovered in my genre research. For this, I chose a bucket hat that are most commonly worn at concerts and festivals. However, the fact that it's camouflage print shows that he is still aware of trends and is fashion conscious.
